Construction Equipment Operator

4 weeks 

This program is designed for the novice operator, needing more machine hours. The student will gain confidence in operating the machine of choice through machine orientation, preventative maintenance, and operation at the Construction site. Based on the student's proficiency, they will be certified upon review. 

Compliance Course Training: 

40 hours of classroom training will consist of: 

(choose 4 courses)

• First Aid Level 1 

• Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) 

• H2S Alive

• WHMIS

• S100 Fire Suppression OR Ground Disturbance 

• Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) 

120 hours seat time

160 hours total
