Advanced Combination Construction Operator

 

6 weeks 

This six-week course (depending on days per week of training) is designed to certify any student on three machines, with an introduction to one more machine. The practical portion of this course consists of machine orientation, preventative maintenance, and operation at our construction site. Based on the student's proficiency, they will be certified upon review on three machines, with introduction and possible certification on a fourth. 

 

Compliance Course Training: 

40 hours of classroom training will consist of: 

(choose 4 courses)

 

• First Aid Level 1 

• Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) 

• H2S Alive

• WHMIS

• S100 Fire Suppression OR Ground Disturbance 

• Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) 

 

180 hours seat time

220 hours total 

Machine Options: 

(select 4 machines) - the student will be certified on 3 machines and be introduced to a fourth with possible certification

180 hours of on-site training: 

• Machine Orientation & Preventative Maintenance 

• Advanced Machine Operations
