Our History

O'Brien Training is located in Prince George, BC. and since it's inception in 2005, has become one of Western Canada's most versatile Training Facilities. Our 500 acre Forestry and Construction sites offer training programs that mirror a "real" working/production environment. Students run machines on their first day of training! 

Our personnel boasts over 60 years of combined training experience within the Forestry, Construction, Transportation, Industrial Production, Safety Awareness, Labor Relations, HUman Resources and Corporate Risk Assessment industries.

O'Brien Training produces qualified operators that are safety conscious and mechanically competent. We are committed to delivering courses that will meet or exceed all provincial and industry specific requirements. We enforce on-site safety and ensure that all students are aware of, and comply with, the safety requirements of today's industry.

Our Equipment Training Facilities

O'Brien Training's has a brand new location at 1320 2nd Avenue in Prince George BC. Our 180 acre Forestry and 500 acre Construction Training Sites offer our trainees a training program that mirrors a “real” working/production environment.

Our versatile mobile training approach means our Instructors can deliver your tailored training program on OUR site or YOUR site.

Our Training Programs

There are few prerequisites for our programs. The only entry requirements necessary are related to safety regulations for our Mechanized Equipment Operator Courses. Our students must be wearing the appropriate personal protection equipment for their choice of training.

Students will be responsible for transportation to and from our office. The trainer will provide transportation for the student to the training site.
